A fourth-generation native of Gillette, Wyoming, Sherryl Hardy was raised on ranching values, earned a degree in Animal Science, became a Certified Veterinary Technician, and spent 17 years in small animal veterinary practice before returning in 2005 to purchase John Henry’s Country Kennel, where she continues providing compassionate pet care in Northeast Wyoming.
Shannon McHenry
Groomer
Raised on ranches in Sheridan, WY and later Ekalaka, MT, Shannon McHenry has been around animals her entire life and developed a strong understanding of animal behavior, patience, and care from an early age. Her 4-H experience built her work ethic and sparked her passion for grooming, starting with show animals and later grooming pets for friends and family. She became a certified groomer and built her own business serving Gillette, Rozet, and Northeast Wyoming, focused on calm, low-stress grooming centered on trust, comfort, and the overall health and well-being of every pet.
